Counselling

Person-centered therapy, also known as client-centered therapy, is an approach to psychotherapy that emphasizes the unique subjective experience of the individual seeking help. This approach is based on the belief that every person has the capacity for self-awareness and growth, and that people are the best experts on their own experiences.

In person-centered therapy, the therapist focuses on creating a safe and empathetic environment that encourages the client to express themselves openly and honestly. The therapist listens actively, shows empathy, and reflects the client's thoughts and feelings back to them in a non-judgmental way.

The client is encouraged to take an active role in the therapy process and to set their own goals for therapy. The therapist does not offer advice or solutions, but rather helps the client to discover their own insights and solutions through reflection and exploration.

Person-centered therapy has been found to be effective in treating a wide range of mental health issues. Including anxiety, depression, and substance abuse. It has also been used to help people cope with grief, relationship issues, and other life challenges.

Clinical Hypnotherapy

Hypnotherapy is a form of therapy that uses hypnosis as a tool to access the unconscious mind and promote positive change in thoughts, behaviours, and emotions. Hypnosis is a state of deep relaxation and heightened suggestibility that can be induced by a trained therapist through guided imagery and relaxation techniques.

In hypnotherapy, the therapist guides the client into a hypnotic state and uses positive suggestions, affirmations, and visualizations to help the client achieve their therapeutic goals.

This may include reducing anxiety, overcoming phobias, managing pain, improving sleep, and breaking negative habits.

Hypnotherapy is often used in conjunction with other forms of therapy, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), psychoanalysis, Neuro Linguistic Programming and Time Line Therapy ⓡ It can also be used as a standalone treatment for certain conditions.

The effectiveness of hypnotherapy in therapeutic practices and psychotherapy has been supported by research. Studies have shown that hypnotherapy can be effective in treating a variety of conditions, including anxiety, depression, phobias, chronic pain, and addiction.
